We'll be honest - no fashion brand can be fully sustainable (yep, not even us). But here at Mei Mei Market, we're all about doing our best to minimise our impact on our planet. We're committed to practising in the most environmentally and ethically responsible ways we can find - and we're always learning, growing and improving!

CLOTHING

Our pieces are deadstock - that means they were already made, kept waiting for a second life. They've never been worn, and by bringing them into your wardrobe, we're giving them the love they deserve without adding more clothing to the planet. No new production, no added textile waste.

PACKAGING

We've kept our packaging as low-impact as possible:

• Compostable mailers
• Swing tags and card made from recycled materials
• Tissue paper that's recyclable and reusable
• Using existing plastic hang tags found in storage - once these run out, we will look into eco-friendly alternatives
  
  CIRCULARITY
  
  If something no longer fits or feels like you, we encourage you to consider reselling, swapping, or passing your piece on to a friend who’ll love it. And if your piece gets a little tear or a hole, try mending instead of tossing it away - a little TLC goes a long way.
  
  COMMUNITY AND CARE
  
  As we grow, we hope to support charities and community organisations doing meaningful work. It’s something close to our hearts, and once we’re in a position to give back, we absolutely will. Watch this space!
